Hi Europe

From 29th November to 1st December 2016, ICNE Ltd exhibited at Health Ingredients (Hi) Europe for the first time.

The exhibition was held over 3 days in Messe Frankfurt, Germany, and all the ‘Facts & Figures’ have been released in a recent report of the show.

According to the report, Hi Europe and Natural Ingredients (Ni) had a total of 8,677 attendees. Visitors from over 138 countries were represented at the show, where 72% of which were from Europe, highlighting that it is an international event attracting visitors from all over the globe.

Out of the number of visitors, 72% had purchasing authority, and 35% held C-suite (senior) positions within their company, making this exhibition the perfect opportunity to meet key decision makers in the industry.

Hi Europe 2016 was used to showcase many industry developments within various key areas, such as:

  • Botanicals
  • Natural Ingredients
  • Preservatives
  • Antioxidants
  • Sports Nutrition
  • Minerals etc.

As well as this, the top 40 visitor ingredients of interest were reported and the top 5 are as follows:

  • Milk and Dairy products
  • Proteins
  • Vitamins
  • Antioxidants

ICNE Ltd received many enquiries from visitors and also from exhibitors. We met with key contacts from a huge number of companies, ranging from small start-ups, to larger companies. Many of the analysis enquiries in raw materials and finished products were:

  • Glucosamine

  • and a variety of herbal extracts

It was a brilliant opportunity to meet new and existing customers. It was also really useful in terms of indicating key trends within the industry, which can be used to help ICNE continually develop new market relevant methods.
